Job Description
We are a small Accountancy Practice working with a diverse client base and are looking to recruit an Accountant to join our small growing team. You will be based in Camberley Town Centre within easy access to the M3/A30 and mainline train station.

Description
As an Accountant, you will support the Director with compliance work with the opportunity to get involved in advisory work as you gain experience.
You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients and duties will include:

To assist with bookkeeping assignments using Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc.

Providing assistance to clients to meet Making Tax Digital requirements.

Liaising with the firm's director and other staff to ensure that client deadline management is met.

Preparation of analysis of client accounting records for accounts work.

Assist in the completion and e-filing of VAT returns.

Assist in preparing micro entity accounts in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102(1a).

Assist in the delivery of the department's client payroll details and communications thereon.

Liaising with partner and other staff to ensure that all the accounts administrative functions are completed as required.

Drafting of standard accounts packs and delivery via the client portal.

Assist when required with booking in client records and maintaining departmental deadline management records.

Providing assistance to complete other departmental administrative tasks.
Profile
The successful candidate must be either qualified or part qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant with good communication and organisation skills. They must have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office products especially Excel as this is fundamental to the position.
Must be prepared to work in a team.
A background in Accountancy Practice work desirable.
Ideally the candidate would have experience of using Xero, Sage and/or Quickbooks. Training will be provided as required.
